Our History

Founded in 2014, Chieftain Energy is a partnership between Air North, Yukon’s Airline, and a growing group of First Nation-owned businesses. We were established to strengthen local participation in the energy sector and support sustainable economic growth across the North.

With a vision to make Whitehorse a key energy hub, we’ve continued to expand our services throughout the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Northern British Columbia, delivering safe, reliable, and community-driven energy solutions in partnership with the people and places we serve.
